The confusion is in the address
--Is 70 Shady Lane part of 8400 Pine Rd? Is this is a separate
61 units - or all part of the 136 acres owned by the
Medical Mission Sisters that is being developed as 549 units in
2021

Sisters came before Board to ask for 61 units on what we think
is about 19 acres zoned CS .
12-12 -
Here is the 2012 approval to build 61 apartments is noted -- Right
adjacent is the rest of the Medical Mission Sisters
property on 8400 Pine Rd with a plan for a 549 unit project . We
are unsure if the Mission Green 61 units is part of the 549 count or
in addition to it .

approved the 61 units 12-12 and then the Abington Code Enforcement and Land Development Committee approved
the final land development application of Medical
Mission Sisters for the construction of
the 61 new
units The apartments
would be built as an addition to the organization's existing
administration building. And the 59,400 square-foot, 4-story building
would serve as housing for retired Catholic sisters as well as elderly
low-income residents — the split would be about 60/40. The apartments
were to be partially funded
through a grant from the Philadelphia Housing Authority; conditions of
the grant include income limits.
