Gas in the US is NOT owned just by American
companies, but is in many cases a joint venture with foreign countries
like China, India, Norway, the UK, Japan, and South Korea.Multinational
corporations hold no allegiance to the US, the American people, or the American
economy - but serve their shareholders and their corporate 'bottom line'. We
will ultimately end up buying American natural gas from foreign entities on the
global market and competing with the highest bidder.

faster and bigger. Doctors call for a

no longer content to frack - they want
to employ a method of blasting deeper into dense
rock to create wider channels with technology,
branded as "DirectConnect" . Land-based rigs
renting for up to $30,000 a day- so
disintegrating plug balls have been
invented to reduce time of retrieving plug balls
. Another technique, called "HiWAY",
can generate bigger cracks in surrounding rock.
The number of customers using HiWAY in North
America has grown 10 times in the past
year. Halliburton, the No. 1 provider of
fracking services, rolled out RapidFrac, to
blast open multiple holes at one time.
Doctors called for a federal moratorium on the
technique in populated areas until the health
effects are better understood.

Chesapeake Energy was founded and grew rich on the
land speculation - and was funded by hyping
the endless supply of gas which helped create a possible fracking
" bubble"
. If the bubble bursts, Chesapeake, who is
covering 10 billion in long term debt, as well as
homeowners , manufacturers, etc., will send new
shockwaves through our economy. They are engaged in
trying to increase demand and boost gas prices by
promoting cars and power plants that run on natural
gas, and by cutting deals to export gas to Europe
and Asia, where prices are five times higher than in
the U.S. So much for America's energy independence.

fracking using info from the EPA website
listing
Total Violations for 201 : 1,192 Notices of
Violations were issued but 93% of them or
1,105
went unfined ( give that some thought when you
hear the DEP say it doesn't have enough money for
its work ) // Total Fines Collected $2,452,988
--so a great deal of money was not collected -
enforcement actions will continue to cost taxpayers
rather than violators . The source of the
statisics used was the PA Department of

State Court Strikes Down Limits on Local Zoning for Gas
Drilling (click to read

which
would enable
twp, borough, town, municipality, etc., to
write local zoning laws that best protect themselves
aagainst some of the insults of oil and gas drilling
and the ruling would also have struck down
the right for the DEP to grant any
waivers, exceptions, and exemptions from state
mandated set-backs, and allows communities to set,
and enforce their own set backs. Click here to

9-12 What gas drilling is doing to individuals
and their rights.
One man's experience with
a gas well the legal 200 feet from his property line - 24hr
noise and lights. Judge for yourself
if it is right. If it is legal, where are the
legislators who can correct that? Or who care about
the pollution of the land the air and the
water and the peaceful enjoyment of our property .
Theses rights belong to us all.
